Clara E. Eppley, 87, formerly of Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, in the Jewish Home of Harrisburg.
Born Aug. 7, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Edward M. and Alva B. (Nauss) Eppley.
Ms. Eppley resided most of her life in the Mechanicsburg area, attended Mechanicsburg High School and was an employee of the Kinney Shoe Co. in Shiremanstown until her retirement in 1979.
She was a member of the First Church of God.
Ms. Eppley is survived by a daughter, Darlene E. Crawford Myers of Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Shani E. Stevenson of New Cumberland; a grandson, Jonathan M. Meyers of Harrisburg; a grandniece, Mary A. Kemper, whom she raised; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary J. A. Carlin and Dorothy C. Moyer.
Private funeral services will be held in Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
