Sarah Elizabeth "Elizabeth" Price was the daughter of John "Jack" Price and Elizabeth "Betsy" Gibson. She first married Halbert Montgomery Brown (son of Halbert Ebenezer and Susannah Burk Brown) 13 Jan 1868, and they had children Susan Brown (12 Oct 1869), Thomas Halbert Brown (12 Sep 1871), Amanda Brown Whorton (23 Mary 1875), and Mary Lucy Brown Vinson (17 Sep 1876). After the death of her first husband Montgomery on 15 Aug 1877, she married Zenith E. Strong on 16 Oct 1887 in Georgetown, Pope Co. AR and they had children Caroline Strong Edwards Bell and Christopher Columbus Strong. Elizabeth died just over one month after the birth of her son Christopher, and Caroline and Christopher were raised by Price relatives.
