passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at the Heritage House of Connersville, where she has resided for the past 8 months. She was born on January 24, 1913, in Clay County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel Gilbert Bowling. She came to reside in Connersville in 1943. She was a member of the Blooming Grove Baptist Church and later attended the Alquina United Methodist Church. She was a cook at Everton Elementary School for several years and at Mousies Cafe and later retired from the Holiday Inn in Connersville. She had three lover of her life, her Lord and Savior, her family and life itself.

She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Bill Fox, Ruthann and Andy Kenworthy, all of Connersville, Mary Linda and Don Sullivan of Hamilton, and Jewel and Shirlin Butler of Monroe, Ohio; five sons and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Judy Jackson of Columbus, Indiana, Arthur and Delores Jackson of Ft. Myers, Florida, Walter and Peggy Jackson of Alquina, Dwayne and Joyce Jackson of Everton and Jerry and Sharon Jackson of Connersville; a brother, Walter and Mary Bowling of Williamsburg, Ohio; sister-in-law, Naomi Bowling of Milford, Ohio; twenty-five grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, twenty step- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, two infant sons, Paul and A.G. Jackson; a sister, Susan Jackson; five brothers, Clayburn, Ace, Grover, Joe and Esless "Jack" Jackson; and an infant granddaughter, Lilly May Butler and a grandson, Paul Ray Butler precedes her in death.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2004, at Urban Winkler Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Wiley of the Alquina United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Everton Cemetery.
