Annie Owens Allamong, 82, of Waynesboro, died at a local hospital on Thursday, June 7, 2007.

She was born on June 26, 1924, in Augusta County, the daughter of the late Robert Owens and Margaret L. Hulvey.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynda S. Patterson and her husband, J. Daniel Patterson; grandsons, Winston and Jackson of Crozet,Virginia: and a sister, Nancy H. Sprow and her husband, Tom Sprow, of York, Pennsylvania.

Annie retired from GE/Genicom in Waynesboro. She enjoyed planting vegetables and flowers and sharing them with her neighbors.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to Crozet Baptist Church, Benevolent Fund, 5804 St. George Avenue, Crozet, VA 22932.
