Mrs. Nancy Jarvis died at her home,
one mile east of town, on Sunday
morning. May 22nd, at 7 o'clock. She
had been ill about a year, and for seven
or eight months past had been confined
to bed. Her husband, Caleb Jarvis,
died in this place about two years ago.
She was the mother of ten children,
some of whom survive her. Her age
was about 67 years. The obsequies took
place on Monday afternoon, with interment

town. The funeral discourse was delivered
at the family residence by Rev.
S. E. Barr, of Vernon.
