He was born December 4, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to Gene Sr. and Bess Bond.
Gene was a doctor of osteopathy and centered on family practice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Sr. and Bess Bond of Gatesville, Texas.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dana Bond of Lake Cherokee; sister, Lindy Peterson and husband, Paul of Elgin; sons, Christopher Bond and wife, Serena of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Greg Kearns of Grapevine, Texas; daughters, Courtney Bond of Pennsylvania, Colleen Bond of Arlington, Texas, and Lexy Kearns of San Diego, California; and grandsons, Braydon and Denton Bond of Las Vegas; and his beloved dogs.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at Chalk Hill Community Church, with the Rev. Corey Ross officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather to reminisce and celebrate the life of Gene.
