Methodist Church. She always loved a good game of bridge, horseback riding, and getting her hands dirty in the garden. She moved to New York 10 years ago to be closer to her daughter, Laura. Mary Frances is survived by her 4 children, Laura P. Midgley, Marilee P. Hurst, Josephine P. Hale, and John M. Parrish III. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held in Oklahoma at a future date.

Mary Frances Parrish Wilson died 29 September 2011 in Briarcliff, New York. She was born 27 September 1909 in Covington, Tennessee. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1939 with her husband, Dr. John M. Parrish, Jr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of Nichols Hills United Methodist Church and a volunteer at St. Anthony Hospital. She is survived by her children - Josephine P. Hale, Marilee P. Hurst, Laura P. Midgley, John M. Parrish III; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donations in her memory may be made to Nichols Hills United Methodist Church, 1212 Bedford Drive, Nichols Hills, Oklahoma 73116.
