Norma was born the daughter of Everett Paul and Lettie Louise Frazee Fisher. She married Luke Matarelli in Peoria on Jan. 10, 1948. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 2005.

She is survived by one son, Luke Randall Matarelli of Peoria; four daughters, Tonya Kay (Dallas) Sumpter and Pamela Rae Matarelli, both of Florida, Lynn (Keith Bufano) Matarelli of California and Renee Matarelli of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Norma was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul; and one daughter, Lu Ann Lea Freeman.

Our mother was the light of our life, who kept us strong after we lost our dad. We are devastated and heartbroken by her passing. She had the most beautiful, loving personality we had ever known. She will be missed forever. We loved her dearly.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Peoria.
