Precious daughter of Myron and Bernice Shetterly, born November 18, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended school in Hartford and graduated from Carlisle High School.

Carolyn had a beautiful voice and appeared regularly on the Starlight Jubilee as Kelly Jo and also sang with the Shetterly Sisters. She traveled to Alaska with her parents and sang with bands in that area. There she met her husband, Allan Dunn, and they were married in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1970.

To this union were born two children, Stacy and Casey. The family lived in Hartford then moved to Arkansas. She was a wonderful wife and mother to her family. Carolyn played her guitar and sang on the square in Mountain View, Arkansas for several years.

Left to mourn her passing is her children and grandchildren, Stacy Dunn, Casey (Cassie Ann) Zachary and Jeremy Dunn. Also brothers, Jim (Myrna) and Bob Shetterly, sisters, Barbara (Dan) Cox and Catherine (Jim Isley), many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death, her parents, brothers George and Larry, sisters Linda Clarke and Mary Purdy.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held in the spring in the Hartford Cemetery.
