Born Minnie Hoffer April 23, 1919 in Fairfax, SD.
Preceded in death by parents John & Catherine Hoffer, sisters Julia Wittmuss, Elizabeth Hoffer, Margaret Fredericks, husband Eugene Agans, daughters Catherine Agans, Helen Correa and granddaughter Deborah Agans.
Leaves behind her sons Robert Agans of San Andreas and Harold Agans of Lodi, grandchildren Lana Johnson, Mary Ice, Paul Agans, Brian Agans, Jeff Coolidge, Steve Coolidge, along with 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Married to Eugene Agans June 21, 1935 in Carson City, NV. They were married for 55 years until Eugene's passing in 1990. A long-time Lockeford resident where they purchased their home on Church Street, living there until moving to a care facility in Stockton.
Minnie worked as Lead Cook at Lockeford Elementary School until her retirement. An active member at Grace Church in Lockeford where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She loved her Lord Jesus, family, cooking, gardening and her favorite pastime crafts of all kinds. A true example of a Godly woman to family and friends, always caring for others until she could do no more.
Friends are invited to memorial services 11:00 am, Friday, January 18, 2013 at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., Lodi. Visitation: Wednesday, 12 noon to 4:00 pm and Thursday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Private committal: Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Lodi.
