She was born August 6, 1944 to the late Paul Parke and Bettie Viola (Barker) Thompson.
She was a retired LPTN and caregiver to many throughout her years of service. Gloria was of Methodist faith.
She was the mother to James S. Morgan of Little Rock; grandmother to William Clay and Brittany Morgan, great grandmother to Clayton Morgan all of East End; Gloria is also survived by many family members and friends that will miss her dearly.
Gloria's family will receive family and friends at Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., on Sunday, January 6, 2013, with the funeral service to commence at 3:00 P.M. with Brother Ronald Young officiating.
