Mrs. Jacqueline Vaughn Allen, 59, of Bookington Dr., passed on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00pm at Files Chapel Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery.
Public viewing will be Wednesday from 1-8pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
She was born March 8, 1953 in Alamance County to Artemos Alonzo Vaughn and Annie Azell Summer Vaughn. She was last employed with Ultra Craft. She was a member of Files Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Allen; a brother, James Edward Vaughn and a sister, Patricia Vaughn.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter of Lexington; two grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
