Pearl Tkach Shefloe was born on August 8, 1909 in Minneapolis, one of many children of Daniel and Catherine (Dennis) Tkach. She married Olaf I. Shefloe in 1942 and they were married until his death in 1978. She had three step-children, Berma, Arlene and Allyn Shefloe and 6 step-grandchildren. Her "grandchildren" adored her. She was always an up-beat, a funny, and a witty person. She was a wonderful woman who brought joy to the lives she touched. She died on October 1, 1998 in Minneapolis and is buried next to "Shef" whom she loved dearly.
