The Sacramento native resided in Walnut Creek for more than 20 years before moving to Oakley two years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry Allen of Oakley; sons, Daniel Allen of Oakley, John Allen of Coronado, Tim Allen of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Scott Allen of Antelope; daughter, Brenda Ellis of Oakley; mother, LaVerne Smuin of Tracy; and sister, Ruth Ann Hickman of Tracy.
