William Joseph had an adopted son, William Joseph "Billie" BROOKS, Jr. (aged 4 years and 4 months as of Census Day, 01 JAN 1920, in McCrary District / Georgia Militia District #772 of Muscogee County, Georgia, and evidently dead before 05 SEP 1956) - so who was not the same as the infant of this name who is buried in Patrick Cemetery.
