WEST POINT - Josie Mae Ruffin-Amos Addison, 88, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at the Dugan Memorial Home in West Point. She was a member of the Mother Board at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the Tibbee Development Club and the Benevolent Society. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in West Point with the Rev. William H. Billups Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Tibbee Community Cemetery in West Point. Carter's Mortuary Services is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include four sons, Robert L. Addison Jr., George E. Addison Sr., Billy R. Addision and Freddie Addison; five daughters, Hattie Weaver, Mildred Hill, Ruth Hunt-Raney, Dornette May and Jessica Addison; two brothers, Edward Amos and Steven Amos; two sisters, Essie Bolden and Remell Powell; 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Addison Sr., and her parents, Ed Amos and Hattie Gardner. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
