Mrs. Nicholas Kehoe

Mrs. Nicholas Kehoe, one of the pioneer settlers of Castle Grove township, Jones county, died at her home at Monticello, last Tuesday following a long illness at the advanced age of eighty-six years.

Mrs Kehoe was a daughter of John and Mary Crilley, and was born February 2, 1848 at Holy Cross, Dubuque county, Iowa. After her marriage to Nicholas Kehoe, sixty-five years ago, her home was made in Castle Grove township for over thirty years during which time Mr Kehoe was actively engaged in farmlng. His death occurred March 29, 1933.

Mrs. Kehoe is survived by two daughters. Mrs M. J. Hogan of Monticello and Mrs. Dennis Donovan of Coggon, one son, Peter Kehoe, Dubuque, twentv-three grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart church in Monticello, the Rev. A. L. Lorenz, assisted by Rev. Wm. Holub of Dubuque and Rev. J. J. Hennessey of Castle Grove reading the requiem mass. Burial was made in the Castle Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Nicholas Kehoe

Mrs. Nicholas Kehoe, one of the pioneer settlers of Castle Grove township, Jones county, died at her home at Monticello, last Tuesday following a long illness at the advanced age of eighty-six years.
