Theodore Baum, 87, Carroll Co. Native, Dies at His Home DELPHI— Theodore H. Baum, 87, of rural route 4, Delphi, died at 8 a.m. Friday at his home. He was a descendant of one of Carroll county's pioneer families.
Born Jan. 4, 1873 in Carroll county, he was the son of John and Lydia (Helser) Baum. His marriage was to Ethel Pearl Reed and she died in 1940.
He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Baptist church. He had spent his entire lifetime in the community.
Survivors include one son, Attorney David R. Bayn, of rural route 4, Delphi; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Miller, of Indianapolis and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm (DST) Sunday at the Jackson funeral home with Rev. James W. Rankin officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday.
