Mrs. Carnal died Tuesday November 20, 2007 in Pine Bluff, AR where she had made her home since 1981. She was born in Jackson, TN daughter of the late Lafayette and Lavada Birch Edwards and was educated in the Jackson City Schools. Mrs. Carnal was Baptist in faith and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Dewitt Carnal in 1980 and to whom she was married on September 28, 1935 and four brothers, Malcolm Edwards, Tom Edwards, Johnny Edwards, Johnny Edwards and Acculee Edwards.
She leaves a son, Fred D. Carnal of Pine Bluff, AR; three grandsons, David Carnal, Jon Carnal and Christopher Carnal and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:30 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. today at the funeral home.
