St Mary Assumption Cemetery was consecrated in 1890 as the parish cemetery for St Mary of the Assumption Church in Haydenville (part of Williamsburg), MA.

The cemetery is divided into Ranges. Range 1 and 2 no longer are clearly differentiated. Due to the Commonwealth mandated increase in plot size, the original roadway separating them has been discontinued. The water pipe near Rte 9 in the middle of the ranges is the location of the old roadway. Looking up the hill, the roadway still can be distinguished.

This is NOT St Mary Cemetery on North Elm & Hatfield Streets in Northampton. Burials in St Mary Assumption are indicated on death certificates and in obituaries with the notation of St Mary's Haydenville or Leed
