Cemetery notes and/or description:
This cemetery is on private property.

The land on which this cemetery is located was pre-empted by Richard E. Walker and later owned by Jacob Ulrich, who then passed it on to his son Benjamin Ulrich.

Thomas Breeze was born May 22, 1791 in Maryland. He and his first wife, Hannah Bennett had at least nine children; John, William, Rachel, Carrel (male), Ellin, Lucinda, Elviry, Perry and Clarinda. The mother, Hannah died in 1834, probably some place in Missouri.

Thomas married the second time to Ann Vance who was born 18 April 1815 in Missouri. They married 18 August, 1836 in Crawford County, Missouri and had at least nine more children: Angeline, Margaret, Mary, Thomas, Sarah Ann, Louisa, Eliza Jane, Henry Clay, and Lott Branson.

Thomas Breeze came from Missouri to Kansas. He and Annie were listed in the 1855 Kansas Census with nine of their children. Thomas was listed as a farmer.

Breeze, Thomas 1791 to 1862
Breeze, Annie 1815 to 1856

Thomas & Annie Breeze are marked with the same stone. Mrs. Plummer the owner in 1980s said there are also children buried here, also marked by a native stone. A large tree had fallen over the rest of the burial plot. They could only guess that the children were possibly buried beneath this tree, and if there had been a stone, it certainly would have been crushed when the tree fell.
