The Myles Standish Burying Ground is owned by the town of Duxbury, and claims to be the oldest maintained cemetery in the United States of America. The oldest gravestone in the cemetery is dated 1687 and belongs to John Alden. The most recent gravestone is dated 1789 and belongs to Ezra Arnold.
