|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery is located on the southwest corner at the intersection of the Kirkville and Schepps Corners roads, Minoa. Rev. William M. Beauchamp noted that this cemetery has many curiously carved stones with emblematic figures in bas relief, evidently the work of a sculptor who signs "A. Salladin, Sen. Mexico, N.Y." to his productions.
Readings of this cemetery occurred in the early 1900's, again in 1957 and last in 1998. A memorial for each of those read markers has been entered. In 2008 all visble markers were photographed and entered into this database.
St. Marys church established a new cemetery (Saint Marys Cemetery) in the village of Minoa, near the church, in 1867. About a dozen known burials occurred in their old cemetery after 1867, most being placed next to family already buried in the cemetery.
