|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The small brick church on East Street dates to 1817, and the cemetery next to the original building was full by 1900. The "new" cemetery on Cumberland Road was established the same year, and is still in use. All the early church records were recorded in Latin, and many names have several spellings, both in the cemetery records, and on the tombstones. Records from the time of the Civil War have faded and are unreadable.
