Photos

A small African American Cemetery located off Weeksville Road in Pasquotank County, about 5 miles SE of Elizabeth City. The cemetery is tucked away off Weeksville Road and is accessed by entering Union Chapel Road from the north end (the southern end is overgrown and impassable).

The original Union Chapel burned down years ago and is now located about a mile away, across several farm fields on Ball Road.

The cemetery is in fair condition and is still in use. Coordinates 36.21703N 76.15625W

(The satellite view shows a very strange view of black rectangles surrounding the cemetery - it's a very old parking lot of tarmac rectangles concreted together)
