The cemetery is located on U. S. Highway 278 in the Hokes Bluff community. Many of community founding families include the Ford, Lankford, Pike, Allsup, Cole, Sims, and other allied families are buried at the church cemetery. These founding families were members of Youngs Chapel Congregational Methodist Church before founding the Piedmont Highway Church of God, now Wellsprings Church of God.

Mr. Zachery (Keith) Phillips III, son of Zack and Doris Faye Pike Phillips, grandson of the Rev. Terry Franklin Pike and Lillie Cora Lankford Pike, great grandson of Earnest Lamar Lankford and Ara Amanda Ford Lankford started adding memorials for this cemetery in 2002.
