|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Located off of Coshocton County Rd 10 at Chili.
Hard to find cemetery.
Directions - Taking Co. Rd. 10 north through Chili you will see the Chili Crossroads Church and another cemetery just off of the roadway.
Before you get to this church and cemetery there will be a gravel road going uphill to your right. Near the top of the gravel hill, just past the cornfield there is an access road to your left.
If the corn is cut you will probably be able to see the cemetery. If it is not cut, the cemetery cannot be seen from the road.
This is an "all grass" area and cemetery is on a hillside. Wet ground may force you to park out at the road and walk back to the cemetery.
This is the former location of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church but there is no sign of where the church was actually located, except for an old outhouse in a corner of the cemetery field.
The cemetery is located in Crawford Township, Coshocton County, Ohio, and is # 2224 (Mount Zion Church Cemetery / Mount Zion Cemetery) in “Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003”, compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) feature ID for the cemetery is 1964123 (Mount Zion Cemetery).
