The old church at Collace, Scotland, of which only the walls stand, was converted into the Nairne Mausoleum after the death of Lord Dunsinane (c.1731-1811), (William Nairne, 5th Baronet of Nairne), in 1812. It is a rectangular rubble-built enclosure with a battlemented top (probably of 1813) and has a very fine semicircular chancel arch of the 13th century which was considerably repaired c.1813.
NSA 1845; Name Book 1864.
The medieval parish church of Collace stood to the South of the present church (1813) on the site now occupied by the Nairne of Dunsinnan Aisle (c.1813).
A fine (partially-restored) processional doorway of late 12th- or early 13th-century date has been incorporated into the middle of the South wall of the aisle. Within the burial-ground, there are fragments of a medieval disc-headed cross and a number of 18th-century gravestones.
The Parsonage is on record by 1287, and the church was dedicated to St Euchan.
