Cemetery notes and/or description:
No individual grave markers are present. According to the Historic Preservation Office, District of Columbia Office of Planning, the cemetery was active from 1907 to 1967.

The cemetery was originally associated with the Home for the Aged and Infirm (later know as D.C. Village) and the industrial home for Negro boys in Blue Plains. The cemetery is now a part of the Blue Plains Water Treatment Facility. The cemetery is on a ridge overlooking the Potomac, out of sight of streets and Blue Plains buildings. Six Nazi saboteurs who were executed in D.C. are buried here.
