Chace cemetery is owned by the Chace Cemetery Association. The first burial was that of Catura Cummings in 1849. The cemetery is almost at capacity.
The cemetery is located across the street from the East Freetown Cemetery, a town-owned cemetery, which began selling plots as Chace Cemetery began reaching capacity.
