The Oklahoma City National Memorial honors the victims who perished in the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
The memorial consists of a monument of twin bronze gates (The Gates of Time), a Reflecting Pool, a Survivorsí Wall and The Field of Empty Chairs.
The Field of Empty Chairs is a group of 168 empty chairs, each inscribed with a victimís name. Three unborn children also died with their mothers. Their names are listed on their mothersí chairs.
