|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery is endangered & overgrown. This was at the county work farm, which was closed by the early 1950's and is now the location of a youth home. No permanent markers are believed to have ever been installed, because this was a place that some indigent people often ended up. Perhaps institutional or funeral home markers were installed, but no one has surveyed this cemetery in more than 20 years. Some of the old county farm property was absorbed into the Interstate I-155 right-of-way, when it was constructed.
All of these burials are from the J. W. Curry & Son Funeral Home records, which were transcribed by volunteers for the Dyer Co. TNGENWEB site. This is probably not a complete list of all the people buried at the County Farm.
