The remnants of headstones removed from the graveyard have been set in gravel and covered with a sealant. The location of the individual grave sites in the field behind the church is unknown. There are approximately twenty Union soldiers and one Confederate soldier buried in this cemetery. The Town of Poolesville has made the old church building available to multiple churches to use as a thrift shop.
