Milton D. Tudor filed the land patent Jan 29, 1897 for the NE 1/4 Section 30 in Twp 14 North Range West of the Indian Meridian. Charles Olson purchased the land in 1945 after it had changed ownership several times.
Tudor Cemetery is near the NW corner of the property on top of a hill. Several pioneers of the area are buried there by the names of Tudor, Sweat, and Ward. Tudor cemetery is located on Danforth Rd. about 1/2 mile between Westminister and Post Rd. The cemetery cannot be seen from Danforth Rd. It is about 100 yds south of Danforth Rd (just on the east side of the fence dividing the NE 1/4 and NW 1/4 of Sec. 30).
