Most of the graves on the farm are of the Martin family or those connected by marriage. The first grave, dated 1834, was of William Martin, who came from Kentucky. His wife died the same year. William Martin and his wife, Martha, were Kentuckians and purchased this farm in 1823. Their eleven children became their heirs and reserved this family plot when the farm was sold to one of the daughters. In the fall of 1980, Mr. & Mrs. Roscoe Albert cleaned off this cemetery on the farm owned by their son, Ronald Albert. The farm was formerly owned by Robert and Betsye Ann (Martin) Williams. Later, Jimmie Martin decided to fence it and do other repairs. He received donations, some from out of state to pay for materials. Those who assisted with the work were Loy Martin, Roger Baughman, and Mr. & Mrs. George M. Rex. They plan to raise the monuments that have fallen over and set them in concrete.
