|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This old graveyard was located southeast of where the Walgreen Condensery used to be. Moved in 1896 when the C. & E.I. railroad started construction of the trestle over the Kaskaskia River. Records obtained were from stones piled along the south edge of Elmer Sanborn's yard. It was deeded to the city of Shelbyville. More stones may be buried in this area or down the bluff near the river. (Per Ed Boedecker).
