Cemetery notes and/or description:
St. Pauls Episcopal Church near Fairview, PA, was organized probably about 1830 to accomodate members of the church who couldn't attend at Georgetown, Pa., according to the book "History of Beaver County" published in 1888. The Masons, Hoges, Dawsons and others were instrumental in organizing the congregation (and their remains are interred in the church's cemetery.) The first house of worship was a modest frame which stood about 2 miles from Fairview, where now only the cemetery remains. The building was replaced about 1873 by a second frame, a neat modern building at the cost of some $2500. Until within the last 6 years (1882), it has been supplied by the same ministers who have officiated at Georgetown, Pa. The present pastor is Rev. H.Q. Miller of Beaver Falls. The congregation membership in 1888 was about 45.
