|Old Mill Lane|
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Directions: Take I-81 to either Virginia Exit 310 or 317. Follow Route 37 to the Route 522 Exit and take Rt. 522 North. Stay on 522 for a little over 7 miles and turn left on to Redland Road (Rt 701). Follow Redland for a little less than two miles and turn left on Old Mill Lane (gravel). Pass the first two houses on the left and find a place to park. There is a barbed wire fence running the length behind the houses. You must cross this fence. Notice … you are now on private property and will be in an active cow pasture, and at least one bull is known to exist. Go to your left and follow the fence. Shortly after the fence turns to the right, there will be a red gate. The cemetery is within the fenced in area behind the gate, and as of the Summer of 2006, is extremely overgrown with thickets, trees, and weeds.
This cemetery is on private property belonging to the Whitacre family and permission is readily given by them for access.
