|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Potter Cemetery is a private cemetery without public access. It is landlocked by private property. As of Spring 2011, it is being restored from its dilapidated condition by the Friends of Potter Cemetery, a non-profit organization in Monroe County, Michigan. Current access to the cemetery is limited, and is only open to members of the Association.
In 1860, the land for the cemetery was donated by Civil War veteran, Corp. Royal Potter and by Mr. John Flint, both of Ash Township. The first recorded burial was in 1847, and the last in 1930.
