I am always thankful that my Dad had 10 years of retirement to enjoy before his death. His happiest times during those years were spent with family, and on vacations with Mom. His other great passion, aside from his grandchildren, was carpentry. For as long as I can remember, he loved to build. First, it was pieces of furniture, then entire room additions to the house. My brothers and I learned a lot from him and I can tell you that I am comfortable wielding a hammer when

Dad died 29 Apr 1996 in Hopewell, Virginia, after a 4 year battle with cancer.

Funeral was held at Our Lady of Fatima Chapel in Richmond Va, May 2, and burial, with military honors, at Delaware Veterans cemetery, May 3, 1996.

He was a dear friend to many, devoted to his Church, his family, and this Nation. His wife, children, grandchildren and other relatives mourn his loss...we miss him so very much...
