The cemetery is located diagonally across the street from the former West Farms Congregational Church and the brick one-room schoolhouse. There is no parking. The cemetery is divided by two dirt driveways with no turn around at the end. The stones face west; the older stones are mostly marble with a few brownstone and slate. Sap from the large pine trees render many of the markers under them difficult to decipher. Crumbling markers and sunken ground indicate more burials than recorded.
The cemetery was started 27 August 1788 with the burial of Freelove Johnson. The marker survives but is almost illegible.
