This cemetery was established in 1793. The cemetery is open to new burials, but only by residents of the South Pond area. There are about 28 fields stones here, but they do not mark the graves of people who died before 1793; they belong to Indians who died of smallpox.
The Massachusetts Historical Commission refers to this cemetery in MACRIS as PLY811. The survey contains an inventory of all burials prior to 1995, including a map with plot numbers.
