Parting Ways is a 94 acre territory in the town of Plymouth on the border with Kingston. The land was given to Prince Goodwin, Cato Howe, Quamony Quash, and Plato Turner in return for their military service. Here these former slaves of African descent and veterans of the American Revolution formed the New Guinea Settlement, which lasted until the early 20th century.
