Mason County, Washington, USA
Platted in 1883, also known as "Slocum Cemetery." Burials ceased in the early 1900s and by the 1960s few markers remained due to neglect and vandalism. Over the years several people interred here were moved to Shelton Cemetery, including Indian Shaker religion founder John Slocum in 1976.
In 2007-2008 the Squaxin Tribe, in cooperation with the Washington Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, located and removed 64 interments to the Squaxin Cemetery . The site is private property, now part of a gravel mine.
