Among the other families represented at the Keesling is that of brothers Amos,1803-1872, and Samuel Betts Gustin,1798-1874, who moved their people from Warren County, Ohio, soon after the territory was opened and farmed the southern sections of the township. The Gustins have a large contingent of relatives buried at this location. Also gathered here are the families of John Cummins, 1817-1889, and Abraham Smith,1801-1881. This settlers' burial ground still serves descendants and local residents.
The cemetery is located on the west side of S County Road 450 E about 0.4 miles north of its intersection with e County Road 400 S.

Indiana Cemetery Locations, Volume 1, published by the Indiana Genealogical Society (02 April 2005), gives the primary cemetery name as Keesling Cemetery with alternate names of Ellison Cemetery and New Keesling Cemetery.
