Located in a wooded area on Springfield Road owned by the Department of Agriculture, Glenn Dale, Maryland.
A one acre tract of land was deeded on October 2, 1815 for a house of worship for members of the Methodist-Episcopal church. It was listed as Pleasant Grove from 1842-1848 and again in 1867 on the Bladensburg Circuit. The church was handed over to the black community when a new one was built further down the road in 1860's. It is not known when the church was torn down but the cemetery holds graves for many children of part Indian and part black that were marked with fieldstones. The cemetery was also used by a family living across the street from it. It was referred to as Pleasant Grove Methodist-Episcopal Meeting House Cemetery
