This is a small family cemetery in a remote, densely wooded, area that is located on what used to be the Harbison & McIntire homesteads. When visited in 2004, this cemetery was heavily overgrown, and difficult to access at the top of a steep ridge. Most of the stones were toppled over but several were still in good condition. There were 20-30 year old trees growing thickly throughout the cemetery along with dense underbrush several feet high.

Directions to reach the cemetery as recorded in 2004. The use of GPS may be essential. Not known if the cemetery is still accessible in 2016. Drive up Burch Ridge (29) about 2 miles. Watch for a well maintained dirt or gravel road on the right. (GPS: abt. 39.77838 -80.81435). About a mile down this road you will come to a private residence. Beyond this house the road will fork. From here on walking is recommended. The walk is about a quarter mile of relatively level terrain. You will need a good walking stick to hold back brambles.

Take the right fork, the one with the electric power lines. Stop at GPS 39.76935 -80.82068 which is midway between two power poles, where the lines cross diagonally over the road, and climb directly up the hill.

You may see the remains of a cabin. This was the Harbison home. Past the cemetery is where the McIntire cabin stood. It was built in 1854 but destroyed by fire in 1979.
