Restlawn Cemetery was the first cemetery in Richland with the first burial in 1909 of Baby Boy Lair. It was operated by the Odd Fellows Lodge, until a Cemetery Association was formed in the 1950’s. Restlawn in still an active cemetery, but has little room for expansion. Hence, in the 1970’s Einan’s Funeral Home and the Cemetery Association created and built a new cemetery, Sunset Memorial Gardens.
