Directions: Go north on LA Hwy. 112 between Melder and Elmer to the small cemetery on the left, two miles from Melder Post Office. The property is privately owned, and the cemetery can be seen from the road. The property is in a separate fenced area, about 12' by 10' in size, and located in the right corner of a barnyard. Nothing remains
except a few concrete slabs almost hidden under the brush and briars.

According to the local residents, the tombstones were moved from the area to another cemetery, but there was no mention made of moving the actual grave. As the concrete slabs still remain on this property, there is a strong possibility that the graves are still here.

Several local people said a child was buried here who died after eating green pears. No mention was made of the other family members, just that the child and his father, a minister, were buried here. (text by J. Michiels)
