Abshire Cemetery is located in NE 14 of the SW 1/4 of Section 11, Township 11 South, Range 1 East, Louisiana Meridian. It is 7.7 miles due south of Crowley, LA and 8 miles northwest of Kaplan, LA.

Directions to Abshire Cemetery from Crowley, LA are as follows:

From Crowley city limits, proceed south on LA Hwy 13 for 7.7 miles to the intersection of Simon Road. Turn left (or east) on Simon Road. Travel 1 mile. Road turns to right (or south). Travel another mile and cross Simon Bridge and enter Vermilion Parish. Road then becomes Longleaf Road. Road curves back to the left (or east again). Travel 1/2 mile to next intersection. This is Abshire Cemetery Road. Turn left and cemetery is at the end of this short (.3 miles) road. Bayou Queue de Tortue traverses along the back (west and north) boundary of the cemetery. Rice fields are to the south and east.
